Original Oil Painting Pals and New Beginnings

The public is invited to enjoy amazing, original artwork from talented kūpuna within the Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation’s (DPR) Senior Clubs with the opening of a free art gallery at the Honolulu Hale Courtyard.
The exhibit features 100 original oil paintings from 22 artists between the ages of 64 to 89 years old. Painted at DPR’s Makua Ali‘i Senior Center, the artists hail from two art clubs, the Original Oil Panting Pals and New Beginnings Artists.
All are welcome to enjoy this exhibit, available for free public viewing on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. until October 17, 2024.
This is the 11th time this group has featured their vibrant artwork within Honolulu Hale.
